Orders & Shipping FAQs

  • A: Our online store charges a flat shipping rate per item based on its packed dimensions and the delivery country. Should you wish to order multiple items to be shipped together, please contact us directly at mushinmartial@gmail.com and we will confirm the shipping costs on your combined order and send you a PayPal payment link thereafter to complete your order.

  • A: We are able to cancel any order upon customer request within 24 hours of an order being placed. The cancellation of any order will be subject to a 10% fee to cover bank fees associated with issuing the refund. If you need to update your shipping address, please email us at mushinmartial@gmail.com, and as long as the shipping label hasn't been created, we can update the shipping address on the original order without the customer needing to cancel and place a new order.

    Please note cancellation requests will not be honored for items that are custom made to order.

  • A: There may be many reasons why your order is being declined. This may be due to computer issues, browser issues, etc. Try a different browser as a first step.

    Another reason may be our Fraud Protection Service. Oftentimes, orders are declined due to the billing address entered on the site not matching the billing address associated with the credit card. Please double check that the billing addresses match; you can still enter a different shipping address as long as the billing addresses match. If the billing addresses do match, please let us know and we can proceed from there.

    If you continue to encounter problems placing an order, an alternate way for you to checkout is to pay for your order via PayPal. PayPal is a very secure way to pay for items over the internet, and all that you need is a bank account or credit card to create a PayPal account. Please visit www.paypal.com for more details.

  • A: You should be able to choose your country as a shipping destination when you purchase an item from us. Unless otherwise stated, our items ship from China (Beijing) and we have calculated the per item shipping costs to your listed country using a standard trackable air mail service (unless otherwise stated).

    The easiest way for you to see the exact shipping costs for your order is to add items to your cart. If you go to the checkout screen you will be able to view various shipping methods and their cost before payment information is requested. Please note, we do not assess and charge for duties and taxes as part of the shipping fee. Customers are responsible for paying these fees directly to the destination country if there are any.

    Additionally, for orders on martial arts weaponry orders, please contact use directly for us to confirm their shipping costs to your country.

  • A: If you order an item that is out of stock or backordered, we will email you to let you know when the item will be available.

  • Unfortunately we do no accept returns on orders unless their was a fault on our part. In such cases, please contact us within 1 week of receiving the package in order to process. In such a case, and following our approval for the return, the items(s) must be returned in their original condition.

  • A: We do accept orders from all countries. Should your country be missing from the shipping dropdown box, please contact us directly at mushinmartialculture.com to process your order.

    Additionally, the onus is upon you, the customer, to ensure the item is permitted in your country (i.e martial arts training weaponry). Should your countries customs or authorities deny the order from being delivered and either confiscate it or return it, we will not refund you for the order or be held liable in any way.

  • A: We are not responsible for packages shipped with any standard shipping method (Air Mail etc.). While we will do our utmost to assist with the tracking, international air mail orders are not guaranteed. If you choose to have your package shipped by standard methods including trackable air mail and it does not arrive, we will not issue a credit or reship any items. Should you wish to send your order using a more expensive option such as FedEx etc. please do contact us directly for a quote and to process.

    When an order ships, a shipping notice with a tracking number will be sent to the email address associated with the order. It is the responsibility of the customer to enter accurate shipping address and contact information as well as to track the package and follow up with the shipping carrier if there are any delays or other issues with delivery.

  • A: We do our utmost to package your order in the most secure manner possible.

    All issues must be brought to our attention within 7 days of receiving the order. Please contact us at mushimartial@gmail.com with details of the defect or damage and include images. Once we receive all required information, we will be in touch with how to proceed.

    If your item was damaged in transit, we are not responsible. International orders are not guaranteed.

  • A: The average delivery times for a specific shipping method are listed when you select one during the order process. Unless there are customs delays etc. in your country, you should receive it within that timeframe.

    National holidays in either the sending or receiving country may delay delivery, so please do take note of such.

  • A: Customers are responsible for any and all taxes, brokerage fees, customs fees, and duties that may be charged by their country of residence, by FedEx or by the postal service for shipping their purchase from the us to another country. These added fees are completely out of our control and cannot be determined in advance. We are unable to provide any support with international customs offices. The value of the package listed on the customs form will be the order total minus shipping. We will not accommodate any request to send the package at a lower value.

    Please note if an international package is refused or the customer fails to pay the customs taxes, the package may be destroyed. In this case, no refund will be issued.
