Broadsword (Dao) - Premium Traditional Custom Made (Hard Steel)
This traditional broadsword (dao) is custom made by one of China’s most well-known swordsmiths in Longquan, which is an area with a long history of producing swords and weaponry. Featuring a solid (unbendable) high quality stainless steel traditional blade with a thickened reinforced spine, this sword has the correct weight and feel of a true traditional sword and will last a lifetime of practice. The handle and scabbard are made from pear hardwood (huali/jichi) and feature high quality fittings. Designed specifically for the true traditional martial artist for an authentic feel while practicing. You may select either a plain wooden handle or have us cord wrap the handle in a historically accurate manner (optional extra). Each sword comes with a standard carrying case and flags.
