Sun Lutang - Masters Series - Poster

This artwork pays homage to one of the most influential and revered masters of Chinese Kung Fu, Sun Lutang. Born in 1860, Sun Lutang mastered the arts of Xingyi Quan, Bagua Zhang and Taiji Quan and went on to create his own branch of Taiji Quan, Sun style Taiji Quan. Sun Lutang wrote some of the most influential and groundbreaking books on these arts in the modern era. He was a highly accomplished and respected martial artist and scholar. While he passed away in 1933, his impact and influence on the Chinese martial arts continues to today.

Here he is depicted in Warhol-esque artistic style, highlighting his creativity while at the same time his heritage. The poster also features his name in Chinese characters and English.
