The material gives the sword excellent rigidity and substantial weight, producing handling closer to a metal Dao than lightweight wooden trainers.
Unlike basic wooden practice swords with thin, flat blades, this Dao is shaped to reproduce the structure and appearance of a traditional Chinese broadsword. Its substantial curved blade has a defined thick spine, creating a more authentic profile and structural feeling.
The blade bears the characters “Mu Shin” in traditional script. The rich red-sandalwood grain gives each sword a distinctive natural finish.
